Rotree Corporation has been developing Rotree Spot Cultivators in Tasmania since 1994. The original Rotree Spot Cultivator weighed 3.5 tonnes although virtually indestrucable these machines were mounted on carriers greater than 25 tonnes. This resulted in high capital and fuel cost making the Rotree a mid cost site preparation tool. This lead to the development of the first Light Weight Rotree Spot Cultivator in 2005 weighing just over 1000 kgs reducing manufacturing costs, improving productivity and increasing efficiency.

Rotree Corporation operates two machines for continued research and development in Tasmania in first and second rotation forests for both Hardwood or Softwood growers. Our Rotrees are mounted on two purpose built 16 Tonne High Wide Excavators.

Our machines are manufactured by hand to a very high standard in Launceston Tasmania.
